Teresa Williams

Co-Owner

Teresa Williams is the Co-Owner & Director of Babe’s-N-Tots Childcare Center in Waco, Texas. She is a native of Waco, and has 2 children, Michelle and Vincent, 4 granddaughters, and a “grand dog” named Zeus.

Teresa has an Associate of Applied Arts in Business Management from McLennan Community College, Waco, TX, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Paul Quinn College, Dallas, TX, and a 26 year retiree of Mars Chocolate North America, Waco, Tx.

Our Center open its doors in October 2016, and became fully licensed in 2017. A Listed Home Provider for 4yrs, and worked with 5-12yr olds in the Children’s Ministry of her church, LovingKindness Ministries House of Prayer, Praise, & Worship, for 5yrs teaching, creating Christian lesson plans and activities, co-coordinating annual programs for the children. It’s been God’s persistence that has guided Teresa in pursuing a hidden passion to provide a healthy, safe, and learning environment for children. All children deserve the opportunity to learn and have the love of learning instilled in them right from the start. Knowledge is the power they will possess throughout their lives that cannot be taken from them…the love for them all comes naturally!

Philosophy

  • Babes N Tots is dedicated to providing the basic principles of early childhood education, namely the development of the whole child physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
  • Primary importance is placed on communication and positive social interactions between adults and children.
  • We believe in meeting children where they are—which means that teachers get to know children well— enabling them to reach goals that are both challenging and achievable. All teaching practices are appropriate to children’s age and developmental status, our staff and teachers are attuned to children as unique individuals, and responsive to the social and cultural contexts in which they live.
